Thus Nepal has one of the highest infant & maternal mortality & morbidity rate in the world. Maternal and Child Health Product Pvt. Ltd. (MCHP) is committed to change the bleak conditions of women and children. More than 90% of whom must survive the difficult conditions of Nepal’s rural areas. The first product developed by the company was Clean Home Delivery Kit (Sutkeri Samagri). This simple medical intervention is saving the lives of Nepali women and children by creating a clean delivery environment at home replacing the traditional way which was unhygienic. MCHP has been manufacturing Sutkeri Samagri since 1994 and sold more than 800,000 kits in Nepal and Bhutan. The demand for the kit continues to increase.
